Most non-service dogs are welcomed on outdoor patios; indoor access depends on local health codes. Service dogs under the ADA may go where the public is allowed—emotional-support animals are not the same as service animals.

Before leaving:

• Check Google/BringFido/Yelp "dog friendly," then call about patio, cat policy, and size limits.
