Healthy adult dogs and cats should have at least one comprehensive wellness exam per year; puppies/kittens need multiple visits for vaccine series; senior dogs (from ~7) and senior cats (from ~10) benefit from twice-yearly wellness exams.

Dental: Most Cats & Dogs Show Dental Disease by Age 3

By age 3, 70%–80% of dogs and cats show signs of dental disease. Untreated disease causes pain, infection, and even systemic issues.

• Brush daily with pet toothpaste (never human fluoride/xylitol); start incisors then molars, keep sessions short, reward after.
